About the event
Our girls have been invited down to Kennesaw State's Anthem Buddy program. Kennesaw State is the 1 of 2, Division 1 teams in the State of Georgia. They have invited our youth to participate on the field during their National Anthem. Our girls will get to wear their jerseys and match up with players as they run onto the field. It is a great experience as a team and as individuals as you get to watch a collegiate game in a great stadium and get the collegiate experience as well as the girls getting to meet some of the KSU players, get on the jumbo-tron and maybe even TV as they are often televised on ESPN. KSU will be playing Longwood.
GAME STARTS AT 11AM. WE MUST MEET AT THE GATE 10:30AM SHARP! GATES OPEN AT 10:00AM
TICKET COST: ALL KSU WOMENS LACROSSE GAMES ARE FREE TO ENTER FOR ALL
KSU OWLS VS LONGWOOD
AMPLE PARKING - SUGGESTED PARKING AT BUSBY TOWN CENTER PARK AND RIDE LOT. 3321 BUSBEE DR., KENNESAW, GA 30144
Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the game. We will have a representative at our marketing table right as you come through the main gate for you to check in with. Once you are all checked in, you are good to go until around 15 minutes before the beginning of the game. Christie White will be there to meet with your children. Parents will sit together in a section, and Christie White and a KSU representative will escort our girls down to the field. Only have team members and one chaperone on the field. Your team will then take the field with the Owls for the National Anthem. Girls 12 and under are allowed to be on the field due to NCAA rules. However, 13 and older are allowed to watch with parents in the stands.
Please sign up on the registration form. It is not required to sign up to go but Christie will keep a look out for you and will update any changes off this list, instead of emailing the whole group again. Also we need at least 10 girls to go, so Christie does need to have some sort of list that we have enough to attend.
